A Final Note
Most importantly, before choosing your Remodeler - DO your homework! Remodeling is a very personal process. The Remodeler you hire will be part of your home for several days, weeks, or even months, so it is important you are comfortable with the company you choose and your personalities work well together.
Do not be afraid to ask these questions of your potential Remodeling Team!
- Does the Remodeler have a permanent address, phone, fax, e-mail, cell phone, and website?
- Does the Remodeler have insurance?
- Does the Remodeler have a valid home improvement license to conduct work in your state?
- Does the Remodeler have a professional trade certificate?
- Does the Remodeler have affiliations with any trade associations or associations of the construction industry?
- Does the Remodeler have a company van with relevant contact information?
